Fortinet GPC 2014, a set on Flickr. Four nights on a cruise ship from Tampa to Mexico and back – the sacrifices you do for work. For the second time, Fortinet conducted their Global Partner Conference on a cruise ship in the Caribbean sea. The Brilliance of the seas took as from Tampa, USA, to Cozumel, Mexico, and back. Nice experience, including giving a presentation on a boat in front of 1000 people. I think I deserved my cocktails 😉

CERN Open Days 2013, a set on Flickr. As the LHC stopped operation in March this year, CERN opened its doors to visitors. A unique chance to visit the tunnel and the accelerator ring – very cool 🙂

L’Etape du Tour 2013, a set on Flickr. Well, it had to be done… once. We stayed inside the time limit and managed to ride the last “hill” while many others were walking. Yai 🙂 Maybe next time we get some more road bike training in. But then… quite certainly there will NOT be a next time 😉

XTERRA & Triathlon Vallée du Joux 2013, a set on Flickr. A Triathlon weekend: The XTERRA on Saturday (muddy & cold) and the Valley du Joux Triathlon (short distance) on Sunday. We both prefer the Mountainbike edition 🙂

A weekend near Interlaken, a set on Flickr. On Saturday we took the train to Schynige Platte and went for a little trail run. On Sunday we took the bikes out and rode via Grindelwald over Grosse Scheideck and Meiringen back to Interlaken. It’s quite nice actually to stay on the south side of the lake, it’s like a roller coaster 🙂

Adventure Chablaisienne 2013, a set on Flickr. Our favourite adventure race, a bit muddy this year. So we had a great time overtaking many others on the downhill 🙂

Italy Roadtrip April 2013, a set on Flickr. Our most recent road-trip brought us to Liguria and Toscani: From the incredible Cinque Terre via Pisa to Florence and Modena. A fantastic part of Italy, and for sure we will be back 🙂
